Eisenhower Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Ga. Funeral Mass will be at 11:45 a.m. today in the Post Depot Chapel, Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot, with burial in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born May 5, 1935, in Honolulu, a daughter of Alfred C. and Lydia Kalahiki Freitas. She was a member of the Post Depot Chapel for 35 years, where she was a CCD teacher for 31 years. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Amber Jones and Lindsie Jones. Surviving are her husband, Raymond "The Coconut" C. Jones Sr. of Beaufort; two sons, Raymond C. Jones Jr. of Beaufort and Parker W. Jones of Gastonia, N.C.; two daughters, Mary L. Partridge of Schenectady, N.Y., and Leilani T. Bessinger of Beaufort; a sister, Virginia Mae Gomes of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; a brother, Joseph Freitas of North Highland, Calif.; two stepbrothers, George Furtado and Jerry Furtado of Hawaii; two stepsisters, Odlia Price of Texas and Mildred Harris of El Paso, Texas; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. *********************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commercial individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
