Brooks are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in Messiah Lutheran Church, Wednesday morning, May 30, 2001, at 11:30 o'clock. Interment, Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, this (Tuesday) evening, between 6 and 8 o'clock. Mrs. Brooks was born April 26, 1925, in Lowell, Mass., the daughter of George H. Lybrand and Olive Francis Farrell Lybrand. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and a homemaker. She attended public schools in Lowell and was a graduate of Medford High School, Mass. She also attended Bernadine Business School. She is survived by her husband of Hanahan, S.C.; two sons, Robert W. Brooks of Goose Creek, S.C., and Charles E. Brooks of Bonneau Beach, S.C.; one daughter, Cheryl B. Harris of Goose Creek, S.C.; one brother, George E. Lybrand of Kelechikan, Alaska; eight grandchildren, Robert W. Brooks, Jr., Rosslyn Rebecca Brooks, Rachel Elizabeth Brooks, Cassandra M. Brooks, Jared L. Brooks, Katherine J. Brooks, Teresa Locke, Paul Pattison, and two great grandchildren, Ashley Locke and Jacob Pattison.
