Interment will follow in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery. Rev. Samuel Generette, Pastor, will conduct the religious service. NESMITH-PINCKNEY FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Generette entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 14, 2001, at a Florence hospital after an illness. She was born July 30, 1935, in Florence County, daughter of the late Lemar Sr. and Eliza Ann Barr. She was educated in the public schools of Florence County. She joined White Chapel Holiness Church where she gave her life to the lord and was baptized. She was joined in holy wedlock to Fred Generette and to this union eight children were born. Those who are left to cherish her memories are her husband, Fred Generette of Johnsonville; four daughters, Ediyh Doster and Sheena Generette, both of Johnsonville, Judith Rich of Nesmith, Carolyn (Maxie) Davis of Plainfield, N.J.; four sons, James Generette of Gilbert, S.C., Brian Generette of Georgetown, Fred Generette, Jr., of New Jersey, and Nathaniel (Lindsay) Generette of Shelby, N.C.; two god-sons, Bobby Barr of Johnsonville, Raymond Barr of New Jersey; two sisters, Minnie (William) Dockery of New Jersey and Eva (Jerome) Chandler of N.C.; two brothers, Norman Barr and Jessie Barr, both of New Jersey; 30 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. *********************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commercial individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
