Mr. Prince was born in Scotia, (Hampton County) July 14, 1939, a son of Mrs. Alma Noonan Prince and the late Bratton D. Prince. He had been manager of the Estill Shell Station for many years and had retired as a painter with Newmark Corp. in Estill. He had served on the Scotia Town Council for 13 years and was a member of the Scotia Baptist Church. Surviving besides his mother of Scotia are, his wife, Mary Alice Nettles Prince of Scotia; two daughters, Vivian P. Dobson and Mary Frances Ferguson, both of Scotia; one brother, Sollie Prince of Hampton; and two sisters, Kathy Lyons and Idell Harriott, both of Pineland. There are three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Monday, in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME IN HAMPTON, with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery near Scotia directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
