The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Friday, in the Victory Baptist Church. Burial, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, will be in the Taylor Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2001. Mrs. Taylor was born January 16, 1923, in Bonneau, S.C., a daughter of Charles A. Sweatman and Sarah Orvin Sweatman. She is the widow of Samuel Taylor, Sr. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and a former Sunday school teacher. Surviving are, a daughter, Retta Funderburk of Macedonia; three sisters, Roberta Rodgers and Shirley Horne, both of Macedonia, and Emily Brady of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; one brother, Joe Sweatman of Macedonia; seven grandchildren, Barbara Brinson, Virginia Gaskins, Timmy Taylor, Debra Gaskins, Karen King, Jessica Guerry, and Mark Funderburk; and 17 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. *********************************************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commerical individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
