Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2001, at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church, Highway 178, St. George, S.C., with Dr. John H. Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by LING FUNERAL HOME OF ST. GEORGE, S.C. (843) 563-3589. Mr. Davis was born April 4, 1947, in the Shady Grove Community of Dorchester County, a son of the late Mrs. Izora Johnson Littlejohn and Willie C. Davis, step-son of the late Mrs. Lizzie Davis. He was a member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church and the 1966 graduating class of Williams Memorial High School, St. George, S.C. He was a former employee of Heidi Bakery of Silver Springs, Md., and Applied Engineering of Orangeburg, S.C. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lisa Thomas of Jersey City, New Jersey, and Ms. Candee Shuler of Bowman, S.C., six sisters, Evangelist Willie Mae Dorsey of Bronx, N.Y., Mrs. Judy D. Britt of St. George, S.C., Mrs. Rena White of Bowman, S.C., Mrs. Melvenia Johnson, Mrs. Debra Jackson, and Mrs. Dorothy Delee of Columbia, S.C., three brothers, Arthur C. Davis of Titusville, Fla., Hurman Davis of Bronx, N.Y., and Furman Davis of Bowman, S.C., six aunts, Mrs. Nellie R.
