"Denny" Baker, 37, of North Charleston, died Friday. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, in the Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with Rev. John Hucks and Rev. David Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by BRYANT FUNERAL HOME of St. George. Pallbearers will be, Rich Way, Franklin Riley, Howard Westbury, Dave Kornahrens, Tommy Jennings, George Reeves, Allen Murray, Rusty Jackson, Mr. Baker was born October 21, 1963, in Orangeburg, a son of John F. "Buddy" Baker and Linda Murray Baker. He was a graduate of Dorchester Academy, attended Lander College and was a journeyman pipe fitter having finished Local 257 Pipe Fitter Apprentice Program in Columbia, S.C. He was a Charter member of Harleyville Southern Methodist Church. Surviving are, a daughter, Jessica Lindsey Baker, Summerville, parents, John F. "Buddy" and Linda M. Baker, Harleyville, S.C., a brother, Thomas G. "Tommy" Baker, Harleyville, grandmother, Kathryn S. Whetsell, step-grandfather, Joseph C. Whetsell, both of Harleyville, great grandmother, Thelma G. Shuler, Holly Hill.
