Born i Hillsdale, Michigan, he was the son of Milford and Diane Hackett and was a 1999 graduate of Seneca High School He was a member of Bountyland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Jamie and Samantha Baum, of the home, two brothers, James M. Cox and Michael Cox, both of Seneca; two step-brothers, Chad and Jason Hackett, both of Anderson; maternal grandfather, Willard H. Baum of the home; serveral aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His extended family includes Joe and Anne Rackley and the children of the Collin Children Home, where he lived for four years beginning at age 12. Graveside services were held Friday at Oconee Memorial Park, conducted by the Reverend Bill Ellison. In liew of flowers, memorials may be made to Collins Home and family ministries, P.O. Box 745, Seneca, 29679.
