(Frank) Beylotte, Sr., 83, of James Island, diedFriday, May 25th, at his residence. Born in Charleston to the late Frank and Bethel Grooms Beylotte. He was married to the late Catherine Mosher Beylotte. Mr. Beylotte served in WWII in the United States Navy and retired as an electrician from the navel shipyard. He was a member of the James Island VFW and Disabled American Veterans. A son, Joseph E. Beylotte predeceased him. He is survived by his daughter, Theresa B. Spiller of Charleston, three sons, Michael A. Beylotte of James Island, Francis M. Beylotte, Jr., of Folly Beach, and Dennis R. Beylotte of James Island, five grandchildren, Francis M. Beylotte, III, Angela Beylotte, Diana Beylotte, Ginna Tate, and Alex Beylotte. He was also survived by two sisters, Mildred Weatherford of James Island, and Deloris Beylotte of Florida, four brothers, William (Dink) Beylotte of Charleston, Harold Beylotte of Hollywood, SC, Harry Beylotte of Florida, and Joe Beylotte of Johns Island. The family will received friends from 6-8PM Monday, May 28th at McALISTER -SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Downtown Chapel, 150 Wentworth Street. A Memorial Service will be held Monday evening, May 28th, at 7PM.
