The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Saturday afternoon, May 19, 2001, at 1 o'clock. Interment, Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at STUHR'S GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mrs. Hinds was born January 23, 1919, in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of Arthur Joseph Davis and Edna Vaughn Davis. She was an administrative assistant and had worked at MUSC and the Navy Exchange. She was a member of Cooper River Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Robert C. Hinds, Jr., of N. Charleston, S.C., three grandchildren, Robert C. Hinds, III, William Steven, and Jeffrey Mark; five great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Cole of Louisiana and Ann Whitaker of Texas and a brother, Clifford Davis of Louisiana. Mrs. Hinds was predeceased by a daughter, Loretta Dawn Cain.
