D. Scott Anderson, 47 of Edisto Beach, died Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at his 
residence. Born in Chicago, Illinois to Sonia B. Anderson and the late Marion C. Anderson, MD. 
Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother of Decatur, GA., a brother, J. Christopher Anderson of 
Toledo, OH; two sisters, Julia B. Anderson of Atlanta, GA., and Laura G. Anderson of Montgomery, 
Ala. A Memorial Service will be held, Monday, May 21, 2001 at 2 PM at Edisto Beach Baptist 
Church. The family asks for your thoughts and prayers, in lieu of flowers or memorials 
McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL is serving the Anderson family.
