ANCRUM, Catherine The relatives and friends of Mrs. Catherine William Ancrum are invited to 
attend her funeral service, 1 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2001, at St. Mary AME Church, 735 Bear 
Swamp Road, Johns Island. Rev. Spavarie Taylor, pastor. Interment will follow at Lowndes 
Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, 3 to 8 p.m., at the Hollywood Chapel. Mrs. Ancrum is 
survived by her sons and daughters, Gloria Fowler, George Ancrum (Lucille), Ethel Young (James),
Melvin Ancrum (Carrie), Alvin Ancrum (Cindy), Willie Mae Gadsden (Carl), Angela Brockington 
(Henry), and Betty Goodwine (Chester); 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters and 
brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements by DOROTHY'S HOME
