Betty lane, Ridgeville, S.C., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 19, 2001. The beloved 
wife of Mr. Mack Washington, Jr., the beloved mother of Mrs. Laura Wade (Solomon) of North 
Charleston, Mr. Kevin M. Washington of Charleston, Mr. Kirt L. Washington of Ridgeville, Mr. 
Derick Washington (Reene) of Germany, the beloved sister of Mrs. Shirley White (Cornell) of 
Ridgeville, Mrs. Carrie Gilliam (Penrick) of New York, N.Y., and the late Roney Rivers. The 
family will receive friends at the late residence. Funeral notice will be announced later by 
the AIKEN-CAPERS FUNERAL HOME. Phone 873-2310.
