Lilly Lee Bryant, 101, formerly of the Westminster area, died May 13, 
2001 in Thompson Georgia.  Born in Long Creek, she was the daughter of 
the late John Taylor Lee and Harriett Elizabeth Smith Lee, and was a 
widow of Alvin Bryant.  She had made her home in Athens, GA, for the 
past several years and was a member of Tuckson United Methodist Church 
there.  Survivors include a step-daughter, Myrtie L. Warner of Bedford,
 Texas; two sisters, Drucie Lee Burnsides of Seneca and Pearl Lee 
Butts of Westminster; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In 
addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death 
by a brother, Roy Lee and sister's Ora Lee Marcus, Mary Lee Phillips, 
and Rudye Lee. Graveside services were held May 17 at Lester Cemetery 
in Athens, conducted by the Rev. Tom Lang. (Keowee Publications, May 30
