Born in Long Creek, she was the daughter of the late John Taylor Lee and Harriett Elizabeth Smith Lee, and was a widow of Alvin Bryant. She had made her home in Athens, GA, for the past several years and was a member of Tuckson United Methodist Church there. Survivors include a step-daughter, Myrtie L. Warner of Bedford, Texas; two sisters, Drucie Lee Burnsides of Seneca and Pearl Lee Butts of Westminster; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee and sister's Ora Lee Marcus, Mary Lee Phillips, and Rudye Lee. Graveside services were held May 17 at Lester Cemetery in Athens, conducted by the Rev. Tom Lang.
