The prayers of final commendation and farewell will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Sunday evening from Six until Eight O'clock, where the Rosary will be held at Seven O'clock. Mr. Hovanec was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son ofJoseph Hovanec and Mary Sova Hovanec. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force, and he was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. Surviving are three sons, Peter Hovanec of Johns Island, SC, Paul Hovanec of Detroit, MI., and Thomas Hovanec of Bradenton, FL.; four grandchildren.
