Born January 31, 1930 in Williamsburg County, She was a daughter of the late James Henry Cantey and the late Viola Gray Cantey. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are four sisters, Alma Bramlett of Scranton, Leola Ridgeway of St. Matthews, Belva Munn of Charleston and Montez of Mt. Pleasant; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday in Jordan United Methodist Church Cemetery. Dr. David Anderson will officiate. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
