Ana M. Canales, 39, of Lady's Island, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at her residence. Services 
will be at 2 p.m. today at Chisholm Galloway Home for Funerals. Mrs. Canales was born September 
19, 1961, in Honduras, Central America, a daughter of Dionisio Hernandez and Blacina Garcia. 
She attended Honduras College and moved to Beaufort in 1996. She was employed by Hilton Head 
Resorts as a housekeeper. She was a member of Bible Chapel. Surviving, in addition to her 
parents, are her husband, Rigoberto Canales of Lady's Island; two daughters, Ana Canales and 
Amber Canales; a son, Smart Canales; three sisters, Dalba Hernandez, Modesta Hernandez and Rosa 
Hernandez of Lady's Island; and three brothers, Nerio Hernandez and Imer Hernandez of Lady's
