Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday in CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Born in Dunoon, Scotland, he was the son of Calixto N. Abelon and Pacita Camarillo Abelon. Mr. Abelon was a graduate of Bishop England High School and the College of Charleston. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at the College of Charleston. Mr. Abelon was Catholic. Survivors include sisters, Charito A. Womersley and Susan Tant both of North Charleston; brothers, Alex C. Abelon of Biloxi, Mississippi and Major George A. Abelon of Demoins, Iowa and a number of Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 8:00 P.M.
