Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m., Mrs. Nichols was born July 31, 1929 in Charleston, the daughter of Marion deVeaux and Beatrice Ferri Cotton. She graduated from Bishop England High School and St. Francis Xavier School of Nursing. She was a retired Registered Nurse at St. Francis Xavier Hospital and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Surviving are three sons, Richard M. Nichols, Donald F. Nichols and Robert A. Nichols all of Charleston; two brothers, Marion D. Cotton of Waynesboro, GA., and F. W. (Fritz) Cotton of Ocala, Fl., 6 grandchildren and two long time friends, Florence H. Cotton and Betty Asbell.
