Mrs. Wilson was born in Hemingway, S.C., October 15, 1916, a daughter of the late William Capus Carter and Mary Ann Bolen Carter. She had retired from Devan Manufacturing Company in Allendale as a seamstress, and was a member of the Eutaw Baptist Church in Ridgeland. She was the widow of the late Eugene O. Wilson. Surviving are, one daughter, Mrs. Marvin "Novice" Anderson of Early Branch; one brother, Doc Carter of Bonneau, S.C.; grandchildren and spouses, Marlene and Tony Terry of Hampton, Edward and Allison Anderson, Timothy and Karen Anderson, all of Brunson, Chris and Janet Anderson of Varnville; ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME IN HAMPTON, with burial in the Swallow-Savannah Cemetery in Allendale, conducted by Rev. Barney Tuten. Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, and Saturday until the hour of services.
