The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2001, at 12 noon at Day Dawn Baptist Church, Pineville, S.C. Remains will repose at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Burial, directed by SCOTT'S MORTUARY, will be in Peru Cemetery, St. Stephen, S.C. Mrs. Williams was born October 15, 1918, in Berkeley County, S.C., a daughter of the late Isaac Gadsden and Sarah W. Johnson. Survivors include her children, Mrs. Sarah W. Clark, Mrs. Helen W. Tribble, Mrs. Essie W. Bryant, Ms. Winnifree Williams, all of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Isaac Williams of Russellville, S.C., and Mr. Terry Williams of Pineville, S.C.; her brother and sisters, Mr. Leon Gadsden, Mrs. Mable G. Governor, both of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Bertha G. Lessington, of New York, N.Y.
