Weaver, Jr., 75, of Charleston, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at a local hospital. Born in Charleston to the late Robert F., Sr., and Beatrice (Bolchoz) Weaver. He was a Roman Catholic and a graduate of Bishop England High School. He was in the U.S. Army and retired from Westvaco. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth E. Weaver. He is survived by four sons, R.F. Weaver, III, David P. Weaver, Ronald J Weaver, all of North Charleston, Carl R. Weaver of Goose Creek, three brothers, Harold Weaver of Mt. Pleasant, Larry Weaver of James Island, Michael Weaver of Jacksonville, Florida, one sister, Shirley Cordray of Albany, GA., 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, 150 Wentworth St. Funeral services will be Wednesday 9am at the funeral home chapel with burial in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
