TRUETT, Cecil The relatives and friends of Cecil Cleveland Truett are 
invited to attend his funeral services in Hanahan Baptist Church, 
Saturday morning, June 16, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Interment, Carolina 
Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE 
ROAD CHAPEL, Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mr. Truett was 
born March 18, 1922, in Darlington, S.C., a son of Samuel Eugene 
Truett and Essie Jane Carter Truett. He was a retired electrician with 
the Charleston Naval Shipyard and also a member of Hanahan Baptist 
Church where he was a Trustee, Deacon and Supervisor of Maintenance. 
He was a W.W.II veteran of the U.S.Army. Surviving are, a son, Roy R. 
Robinson of Hanahan, S.C., two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and 
Ronnie Merritt of Hanahan, S.C., and Gerita R. and Darrell Burdick of 
Hanahan, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Melody Robinson, Richard Leya, 
Steven Leya, Ronnie Leya, Gerita Burdick, Ron Cecil Merritt, Cindy J. 
Lovelace, and Daniel Patrick Robinson; six great grandchildren, Rachel
Leya, Shelby Leya, Autumn Leya, Brandon Burdick, Ronnie Merritt, Jr., 
and Zachary Lovelace. (THe Post and Courier June 14, 2001)
