"Penny" Daniels, 68, of North Charleston, widower of Betty Rose Daniels died Thursday in a Florence hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 10, 2001, at 3 o'clock in Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries, Summerville. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston. Born on May 31, 1933, in Lake City, S.C., a son of the late Duffy Daniels and Lela Garris Daniels. He attended Lake City schools. He was a member of Summerville Masonic Lodge #234, Dorchester Shrine Club, and Scottish Rite. He served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was a retired Carpenter and Maintenance with Fluor Daniel. He was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries. Surviving are, fiance, Iva Lee Bingham of Kingstree; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard T. and Tammy Daniels of Charleston; two daughtesr and sons-in-law, Donna Kay and Phill Smith of Charleston Heights, Darlene and Donald Morris of Goose Creek; three brothers, Bobby Daniels of Scranton, Jerry Daniels of Florence, Donny Daniels of Scranton; sister, Jo Ann Wrenn of Kingstree; four grandchildren, Christy and Miranda Daniels of Charleston, Daniel and Dylan Morris of Goose Creek; one great grandson, Kyle Belk Smith.
