Opal Riddle Snowden, 79, of Hanahan, died Wednesday in a North 
Charleston hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be 
announced later by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.   (The Post and

Opal Riddle Snowden, 79, of Hanahan, died Wednesday in a North 
Charleston hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., 
Saturday (today) in Carolina Memorial Gardens, directed by Carolina 
Memorial Funeral Home. Born in Sikeston, Mo., she was the daughter of 
Steve Riddle and Lula Stokes Riddle. Mrs. Snowden was the widow of 
John Snowden. Survivors include a niece, Karen S. Lathan of 
Bourbonnais, Ill. Arrangements by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 
7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C. (The Post and Courier June
