Born on November 23, 1917, in Cordova, S.C., a daughter of the late Medicus James Stack and Emily Smoak Stack. She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are, son and daughter-in-law, William G. and Mary Ann Smith of Summerville; two daughters, Harriet Daigneault of Tampa, Fla., Patricia Hunter of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, Claudis Stack of Jedburg, Harold Stack of Rock Hill ; two sisters, Lurine Knight of Bethune, Estelle Muckenfuss of Saltville, Va.; seven grandchildren, Mary Frances Van Patten of Summerville, Kimberly Ann Smith of Summerville, John Paul Sylva of Franklin, Tenn., Tracy Lester of Dallas, Texas, Christopher Dike of Clearwater, Fla., Lisa Stone of Pleasant Hill, Mo., Scarlet Greco of Independence, Mo.; six great grandchildren.
