Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, June 12, 2001, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 o'clock. Burial will be held at Cummings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville, S.C., this Monday evening from 6 to 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Sammy Green Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of S.C., 173 Church St., Ridgeville, S.C. 29472. Mr. Green was born on April 27, 1943, in Ridgeville, a son of the late Harold G. Green and the late Marcel Daniels Green. He graduated from Harleyville-Ridgeville High School. He was a wholesale car dealer and was Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Cecelia Ann (Cece) Green, of North Charleston; three sons, Samuel E. (Buzzy) Green, Jr., of Charleston, Kevin A. O'Quinn, of Charlotte, N.C., and Jonathan T. (Jody) Green, of Summerville; three sisters, Louise Teems, of Summerville, Judy Davis, of Pulaski, Tenn., and Diane Herndon, of Harleyville; five brothers, Glen Green, of Dorchester, Miles Green, of Harleyville, Tony Green, of Branchville, and Timmy Green and Marion Green, both of Ridgeville; three grandchildren, Maddison E.
