Residence, North Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Saturday morning, June 9, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Interment, Pine Grove Baptist Churchyard, Givhans, S.C. Friends may call at Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel this (Friday) evening between 6 and 8 o'clock. Mr. Easterling was born September 6, 1918, in Givhans, S.C., the son of the late Sylvester Guess and Amanda Virginia Cummings Easterling. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a retired crane operator with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He is survived by one son, Clifford R. Easterling of North Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Valma Easterling Coward of North Charleston, Bonnie J. Easterling Perry of North Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Mildred James of Sterling, Va.; one half-sister, Adele Fralix of St. George, S.C.; two halrothers, Wendell Easterling of Dorchester, S.C., and Wesley Easterling of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, Philip R. Perry of Winthrop, Maine, Joseph Perry of North Charleston, S.C., and Sharee Coward of Columbia, S.C., and three great grandchildren.
