Mr. Scheidecker was born January 16, 1982, in Groton, Conn., a son of Bradley Steven Scheidecker and Dianna Lynn Mays Scheidecker. He was a graduate of Fort Dorchester High School and was employed by Budget Truck Rental. Survivors include his parents, Bradley and Dianna Scheidecker, of Sterling, Ill.; his brother, T.J. Scheidecker, of North Charleston; his maternal grandparents, Jim Mays, of Sterling, Ill., and Sue Little, of Raleigh, N.C.; and his paternal grandmother, Angie Scheidecker, of Sterling, Ill.
