BRUNSON-Sallie Eugenia Loadholt Barnes, widow ofHerman R. Barnes, died 
Thursday morning in a local Allendale County Hospital after an extended
illness. She was 92. Mrs. Barnes was born in Old Barnwell County 
February 25, 1909, a daughter of the late Joseph Charles Loadholt and 
Jessie Mae Johns Loadholt. She was a homemaker, and a lifelong member 
of the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church. She is survived by 2 brothers, 
Charlie D. Loadholt of Hampton, and James Lionel Loadholt of Allendale.
There are a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnes was pre-deceased 
by a son, Joe Wilson Barnes, and a daughter, Doris Helen Barnes. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the St. 
Nicholas Lutheran Church, with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
SMITH-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME OF ALLENDALE is in charge of arrangements.
