Pleasant, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at a local retirement home. She was born in Charleston to the late Alfred and Armen (Parish) Parker. She was a graduate of Meminger High School and the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. She was a long-time resident of Isle of Palms and was a member of Sunrise Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ostendorff was the widow of Harold M. Ostendorff and is survived by her brother, James A. Parker of Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1520 Rifel Range Road, 884-3833. A graveside service will be held at Riverview Memorial Park on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowcountry Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
