Patricia Alsop Kelly Fawcett
Patricia Alsop Kelly Fawcett, 84, of Fripp Island and Columbia, died 
Saturday, June 9, 2001, in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be 
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Beaufort National Cemetery. A memorial Mass 
will be Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Columbia. Mrs. Fawcett 
was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Edinburg, Scotland, a daughter of William 
Patrick Kelly and Christina Reid Crawford Kelly. Surviving are her 
husband, retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. John R. Fawcett of Columbia; four 
daughters, Christina Jeffrey, Frances Peterson, Kelly Somoza and 
Jacqueline Fogel; four sons, John, David, Peter and Michael; and 30 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family suggests that those 
who wish make memorials to The Cardinal Mindzenty Foundation, P.O. Box 
11321, St. Louis, MO 63105. Anderson Funeral Home, Beaufort, is in 
charge.
