Asa Clark Nine
VARNVILLE - Asa Clark Nine, 47, of Varnville, died Tuesday, June 12, 
2001, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. 
tonight in Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton. The family will 
receive friends afterward, Burial will be later in Miller Cemetery, 
Cranesville, W.Va. Mr. Nine was born Aug. 2, 1952, in Preston County, 
W.Va., a son of Iris Nine Lucabaugh and Earl Nine. He was a carpenter 
with the Johnny Freeman Construction Co. and was a U.S. Army vetran of 
the Vietnam War. Surviving are his mother of Manchester, Pa.; and five 
sisters, Connie Plum of Cleveland, Ohio, Kay Garlitz of Terra Alta, 
W.Va., Karen Turkovich of Holiday, Fla., Carrie Nine of Warren, Ohio 
and Twila Nezbeth of West Farmington, Ohio.
