The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Young Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Ms. Washington was born April 22, 1926, in Colleton County, a daughter of Moses and Nancy Ferguson Murray. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She attended school in the village of Roadside in Colleton County and in New York City. She earned associate degree at New York City Community College, employed by the NYC public school system for 26 years as a paraprofessional.
