Allan Calvitte Mustard Sr. 

CHAPIN -  Allan Calvitte Mustard Sr., 89, of Chapin and fromerly of 
Beaufort died Friday, June 15, 2001. A memorial service will be held 
at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lake Catholic Church. Burial will be 
private. Mr. Mustard was born in Charleston, a son of Allan Calvitte 
and Anna Legare Wolfe Mustard. He was a senior vice-president with 
SCE&G and member emeritus of the SCANA board. A 1935 graduate of 
Clemson University, he was a recipient of the Order of the Palmetto; a 
charter member of the St. Andrews Society of Columbia and member in 
Charleston; former chairman of the S.C. Commission for the Blind; 
charter member of the Palmetto Club; past president of the Rotary Club 
of Beaufort and member of the Rotary Club of Columbia; past member of 
the Beaufort County Board of Education; member of the Board of 
Directors of Towne Theater in Columbia and a member of Trinity 
Episcopal Cathedral. Survivors include his wife, janet Parrish 
Mustard; three sons, Allan C. Mustard Jr. of Ft. Smith, Ark., William 
B. Mustard of Chapin and Charles S. Mustard of Irmo; two stepson, 
Jeffrey Parrish of Chapin and Daniel C. Parrish of Irmo; a stepdaughter
, Lisa Parrish of Vermont; two sisters, Anna Hinson of Gainesville, 
Fla. and Jean Weldon of Columbia; several grandchildren and 
great-granchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our 
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church or Family Life Center. Dunbar Funeral 
Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is in charge.  (The Beaufort Gazette, June
