William Francis "Bill" Morgan, of Wadmalaw Island, widower of Georgia 
Carpenter Morgan, died Saturday, June 23, 2001. He was born Saturday, 
November 20, 1915, in Ridgewood, N.J., the son of William J. and 
Elizabeth Hangan Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a retired physicist with 
Sperry Rand Corp. He was an Austin-Healy enthusiast and an avid and 
accomplished sports car racer. Mr. Morgan is survived by his sister, 
Mary-Claire Morgan of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Richard Morgan 
of Louisville, Ky., and John Morgan of Charleston, S.C. A memorial 
service for Mr. Morgan will be announced at a later date. Memorial 
contributions may be made in his name to the SPCA Animal Shelter, 3861 
Leeds Ave., North Charleston. Arrangements by JAMES A. MCALISTER 
FUNERAL HOME, 1620 SAVANNAH HWY., 766-1365.  (The Post and Courier
