(The Post and Courier June 11, 2001) Mabel Doctor Marion, 76, of (Oakley Section) Moncks Corner, S.C., a former housewife, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at a local hospital. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2001, at 11 a.m., at New Home Baptist Church, (Oakley Section) of Moncks Corner, S.C. Burial, directed by SCOTT'S MORTUARY, will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Marion was born on May 24, 1925, in Berkeley County, S.C., a daughter of the late Mr. Martin Brown and Mrs. Annabell Aiken. Survivors include, her children, Mr. James Williams, Jr., Mrs. Carmer W. Bryant, both of Moncks Corner, S.C., Mr. Harris Williams of Bronx, N.Y., and Ms. Barbara Jean Williams of Hemingway, S.C.; her brothers and sisters, Mr. Peter Doctor of Johns Island, S.C., Rev. Melvin Doctor of Orlando, Fla., Dea. Henry Doctor, Jr., of Centreville, Va., Mr. Joseph Doctor of Ft. Lucie, Fla., Mrs. Sarah L. Doctor-Frayer of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mr. Cleveland Doctor of Orangeburg, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
