(The Post and Courier June 10, 2001) LYNCH, Marie The friends and relatives of Marie Lovitt Lynch, widow of Harold Edward Lynch are invited to attend her graveside funeral services in Carolina Memorial Gardens, Tuesday morning, June 12, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, this evening, June 11, 2001, between 6 and 8 o'clock. Mrs. Lynch was born on May 25, 1928, in Lot, Kentucky, a daughter of Ola Lovitt and Laura Perkins Lovitt Leach. She was retired from the Berkeley County School System, where she served as a lunchroom worker for Boulder Bluff Elementary and Howe Hall Middle School. She is survived by one son, Lonnie H. "Tony" and Bonnie Godsey of Aynor, S.C.; one daughter, Sherry Lynch and David Crosby of Goose Creek, S.C.; three grandchildren, Lonnie H., Jr. "Tony", and Page Godsey of Aynor, S.C., Laura G. and Benjamin Jordan of Conway, S.C., and Stephen E. Dangerfield of Goose Creek, S.C.; and two great grandchildren, Corine Marie Jordan of Conway, S.C., and Lonnie G. "Tony" Godsey, III, of Aynor, S.C. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her sister, Jerry Helmey. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, Inc., 3896 Leeds Ave., North Charleston, S.C. 29405.
