COLUMBIA - Beverly Canby McGee, 77, died Monday, June 11, 2001. Born 
in New Orleans, La., she was a daughter of the late John William and 
Geraldine Jones Canby. She was a member of the Junior League and 
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Surviving are her daughters, Beverly M. 
Kinder of Columbia, and Catharine M. Mebane of Greenville, S.C.; a 
sister, Mrs. C.F. Carroll of Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren, 
Perry Kinder of Columbia, Emmie Kinder of Charleston, Will Mebane of 
San Francisco, Calif., Harriett Mebane of Whitten Center, Clinton, 
Catharine Mebane of Greenville, Janie Mebane of Charleston, and John 
and Beverly Mebane of Greenville. Services will be held Thursday at 2 
p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, memorials may 
be made to Columbia Green, P.O. Box 50191, Columbia, S.C. 29250.
