Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial with military honors will follow in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mr. McDonald was born April 19, 1937, in Orangeburg, a son of Richard McDonald Sr. and Dorothy Keitt McDonald. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked as a roofer. Surviving are four sisters, Hazel Robinson of Beaufort, Dorothy Hart of Miami, Delores Wingate of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Margie Chapters of Fort Washington, Md.; and a brother, Levi McDonald of Dallas.
