Drabant Leonard, 66, of North Charleston, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Bogus, Minn., a daughter of the late George F. Drabant and Ruth V. Lundquist Drabant. Mrs. Leonard was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, John R. Leonard, two sons, Michael Leonard of Easley, S.C., Daniel Leonard of Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., one daughter, Michelle Leonard of Goose Creek, S.C., two brothers, LaVerne Drabant of Blaine, Minn., Jerry Drabant of New Prague, Minn., two sisters, Marlene Engel of Lakewood, Calif., LuAnn Marty of Andover, Minn., an three grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2001, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Frank Palmieri officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, Leeds Ave., Charleston. Arrangements are made by MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek.
