"Donnie" Kirk, Jr., 43, of North Charleston, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at his residence. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 15, 2001, at 2 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Inurnment will be in Beadon Baptist Church Cemetery, Walterboro. Born on July 25, 1957, in Charleston, S.C., a son of the late Doyle Elton Kirk, Sr., and Juanita Lillian Crosby Kirk. He was a graduate of R.B. Stall High School. He served in the United States Army. He was a welder. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Surviving are, two sons, Doyle E. "Donnie" Kirk, III, of Summerville, Jason Robert Kirk of Summerville; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Lorraine Craven of Summerville; three sisters, Deborah K. Hunter of Goose Creek, Denise J. Kirk of Virginia Beach, Va., Deanne R. Kirk of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Dallas R. Kirk of Summerville; five grandchildren. Arrangements by JAMES A.
