The Rev. James Sanders, the Rev. Jerry Devinney and the Rev. Ralph Byars officiated and burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. King, 72, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at her residence. Born in York County on May 25, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Hildredth and the late Mamie Yarborough Hildredth. She attended Chester County schools, was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Dewey M. King; a son, Michael Dewey King of Stuart, Fla.; a daughter, Margaret Ann King Glenn of Rock Hill; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice Community Care, 325 Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, S.C. 29730.
