Mrs. Killen was born in Monroe, Ga., a daughter of the late Henry Clifford Mitchell and Rossie Davis Mitchell. She lived in Goergetown for many years and was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are, two sons, James Thomas Killen, III, of York and Pawley's Island, and William Mitchell Killen of Pawley's Island; two sisters, Betty M. Strange of Sumter and Nelle M. Craig of Matthews, N.C.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 11 o'clock, at the graveside in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. John P. Green. Burial will follow under the direction of the Georgetown Chapel of MAYER FUNERAL HOME. The family suggests memorials to Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, 901 Highmarket Street, Georgetown, S.C. 29440.
