Vance - Annie L. Jefferson, 87, of 199 Vance Road, Vance, SC, died 
June 9, 2001.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 
2001, at First Baptist Church Rev Kenneth Carson will Officiate.  
Burial in Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.  Eutawville Community 
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Jefferson was the 
daughter of the late William "Bill" and Ida Dingle Snell, born June 
10, 1914, in Vance, SC.  She attended public schools of Orangeburg 
County.  She was united in marriage to the late Frank "Pompey" 
Jefferson.  She was baptized at an early age at Liberty Hill Baptist 
Church.  Later, she joined First Baptist where she became a member of 
the Senior Choir and the Christian Aid Society.  Survivors include, 
son, Mr. Frank "Bib Boy" Jefferson, Jr.' daughters Mrs. Catherine J. 
Miller and Mrs. Dorothy Vogt, all of Vance, SC.  Friends may call at 
Eutawville Community Funeral Home. (THe Post and Courier June 12, 2001)
