Edwards entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 9, 2001. Late 
residence, Highway 17-A, Summerville. Husband of Mrs. Esther Edwards; 
father of Mr. Sam Flood, brother of Mrs. Mary Geddis, Messers Cecil, 
James, Jr., Frank and Marvin Edwards; adopted father of Mr. Herbert

EDWARDS, Joe The last religious rites for Mr. Joe Nathan Edwards will 
be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001, 12 noon, at Canaan United Methodist 
Church, Ridgeville (Givhans), S.C., Rev. James C. Lane, Pastor. 
Interment, churchyard cemetery. His wife, Mrs. Esther Edwards; son, 
Mr. Sam Flood, sister, Mrs. Mary Gettys; brothers, Messers. Cecil, 
James, Jr., Frank, and Marvin Edwards; adopted son, Mr. Herbert Beard; 
request his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other 
relatives and friends to attend with them these last rites. Condolences
