Born January 1, 1931, in Hampton, S.C., the daughter of the late Hammie G. Barnes and late Anna Adams Barnes. She was the retired co-owner of Floyd and Dot's Restaurant, Bamberg, S.C. Services will be Saturday, June 23, 2001, 11 a.m. at COONER FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial in Bamberg Memory Gardens. Officiated by the Rev. Charles Readling. Survivors include, three daughters, Linda Witherspoon of Jacksonville, Fla., Barbara Fitzgerald of Longview, Texas, Elizabeth "Libby" Truett of Bamberg, S.C.; three sons, Jack Horton of Murrells Inlet, S.C., Keith Hiott of Denmark, S.C. , John (Hank) Hiott of Bamberg, S.C.; one sister, Ernestine Brinson of Columbia, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at the home of Floyd Hiott on the Charleston-Augusta Road, Bamberg, S.C. Visitation, 6 to 8 p.m., Frida, June 22, 2001, at COONER FUNERAL HOME, Bamberg, S.C.
