(The Post and Courier June 27,2001) GUMAER, Charles Charles Russell Gumaer, 46, of Summerville, died June 25, 2001, at a Charleston hospital. Memorial services will be held at Parks Funeral Chapel on Friday afternoon, June 29, 2001, at 1 o'clock. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family of Charles Gumaer, 116 Heritage lane, Summerville, S.C. 29483. Mr. Gumaer was born August 21, 1954, in Suffolk County, Long Island, N.Y., a son of the late Russell J. Gumaer and June Griffin Gumaer. He was a self-employed electrical lighting craftsman and designer. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Czubeb Gumaer and a daughter, Kathleen Gumaer, both of Summerville, S.C., his mother of Charlotte, N.C., and a brother-in-law, John Czubek of Bay Port, Long Island, N.Y.
