Officiating will be Rev. Dickie Knight and Rev. Bill Padgett. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Mrs. Grooms died Friday, June 22, 2001. Born in Springfield, S.C., she was the wife of the late Earl Edmun and the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Josephine Gunter Farmer. She was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Roberta G. Culbertson of Irmo; daughter and son-in-law, Helen G. and Cliff Rivers of Lexington; son, Carl E. Grooms of Batesburg-Leesville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
