Born April 20, 1951 in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Fulton B. ``Flap'' Sanders, Sr. and the late Hazel Black Sanders. He worked for Mr. Flap's Pawn Shop in Goose Creek. He is survived by his step mother Mary M. Sanders of Hanahan; two brothers: Larry D. Sanders of Nashville, TN., and Kenneth Sanders of Knoxville, TN; and four sisters: Felicia Sanders Smith of Summerville, Carlene Sanders of San Diego, CA, Gracie Riopelle of Albemarle, NC, and Emily Epstein of Clearwater, FL; and nephew, Riddick Sheridan Witt Smith. Graveside services will be held 1PM Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Summerville Cemetery. McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek, SC is serving the Sanders family.
